NCARB ARE Remote Testing Launches November 16

NCARB is excited to announce that Architect Registration Examination® (ARE®) candidates will be able to schedule remote-proctored appointments in mid-November 2020. Changes that will make remote proctoring possible are expected to launch

November 16, 2020. As test center closures and limited availability continue to impact candidates’ licensure progress, this new option will provide flexibility to take the exam in a location of the candidates choice. We will send an announcement to all candidates

and post this information on NCARB.org on September 1, 2020, and we wanted you to have all of this information in advance – including FAQs specifically designed to help you answer questions about this effort.  Please let us know if you have any questions.
